ABOUT MARK:
Mark Fisher has been interested in Big Band music for over 40 years. A graduate of Penn State University, where he played with Centre Dimensions, Mark has resided in Huntsville since 1990.
A fan of both traditional and progressive big band music, Mark’s major influences are Ashley Alexander, Jim Pugh and Tommy Dorsey. Mark is an alumnus of the Bobby Mercer Roadshow Big Band and the Fred Shannon Smith Orchestra. Currently, in addition to RCJO, Mark is Principal Trombone of the Brass Band of Huntsville and Twickenham Winds. Mark works as an engineer at Blue Origin on Liquid Rocket Engines, is married and has three children.
